Want to see LPNY? A new kind of love story

London, Paris, New York is the latest Bollywood movie released on 2nd March starring Ali Zafar (Nikhil Chopra) and Aditi Rao Hydari (Lalitha Krishnan) is a lovely romantic movie which takes the viewers all around the world and gives them the different flavours of love in different places. This movie is directed by Anu Menon whose earlier sensation is Indian cow boy movie “Quick Gun Murugun: Misadventures of an Indian Cowboy” with the collaboration of the mighty Fox Studios.

Coming into the storyline of the movie, Nikhil Chopra and Lalitha Krishnan are two adolescents who are free spirited meet by chance in London. They develop deep attraction towards each other almost instantly. Like all the teenagers they chat, hang out and kiss. They make a promise to each other that they would meet again after six months in New York which is Lalitha’s home town. However, they decide not to pursue a long distance relationship, yet, they can’t get over this not-so-fatal attraction. Hence, this mismatched and geographically-crossed couple go their separate transit lounges around the world, to search out each other, only to love and lose each other over and over again. Blame it on the rivers – Thames, Seine and Hudson – for pouring waters over their attraction each time. With a new twist in each city.

Ali Zafar is multi-talented person who is musician, composer, singer and a model. He has sold seven million copies of his songs all around the world which clearly shows how many fans he has made with his music. He is just the charming, almost cocky boy this love story needs. In her first full-fledged lead role, Aditi Rao Hydari is immensely likeable on-screen, and confidently displays maturity in some moments. At times, her attempt to draw the right expression borders on being forceful, but the awkwardness only adds to the charm of this girl-next-door. The duo make an affable on-screen pair.

Fox Star Studios announced its association with Rose Movies for a new film titled London, Paris, New York at the launch event of movie on 24 August 2011. “We are committed to working with the best talent in the business and are delighted to be working with Goldie and Shrishti on London, Paris, New York. It’s an amazing script that we are all very excited about. With comedies driving audiences into the theatres, this romantic comedy is the film to watch out for in 2012,” said Vijay Singh, CEO Fox Star Studios India.
