I believe Akshay can do justice to ‘Thupaki’ remake: AR Murugadoss
Even as a case against ‘Thupaki’ is pending before the court, a guessing game is on among fans that Vijay will be seen in the role of a cop in this film, directed by AR Murugadoss.
The director denies it and says, “Vijay is not playing a police officer in ‘Thupaki’. He is playing a youngster in Mumbai, who is on a mission.”
As soon as the Tamil version will hit the screens, Murugadoss will start remaking the film in Hindi, with Akshay Kumar playing the lead role.
Remember only recently Vijay and Akshay appeared for a song sequence in ‘Rowdy Rathore’ directed by Prabhu Deva. “I strongly believe Akshay can do justice to the lead role of ‘Thupaki’,” Murugadoss says.
