Two teachers booked for raping students
Two teachers were on Thursday booked for raping two girl students at a government school by blackmailing them on the basis of video clips showing them in compromising positions in Rajasthan’s Alwar district, police said.
A first information report (FIR) against Dhara Singh and Badri Prasad Meena was lodged on the direction of a lower court.
According to police, the incident took place in a village near Tehala town in the district, around 150 km from Jaipur.
“The elder sister of one of the two girls approached a local court recently. She alleged that Dhara Singh and Badri Prasad made some mobile clippings of the two girls showing them in a compromising position,” said a police officer.
The officer said that the complainant alleged that the two teachers used to force the girls to stay in the classroom even after school hours and raped them repeatedly.
