Andhra Bank Recruitment 2012 – Apply Online for 470 PO & SO Posts: Andhra Bank has issued notification against recruitment of 470 Probationary Officer and Specialist Officer Vacancies. Candidates who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officer and Specialist Officer conducted by IBPS in 2011-2012 and obtained a valid IBPS Score Card are only eligible to apply. Names of Posts:
1. Probationary Officers – 400 vacancies
2. IT Officers – 40 vacancies
3. Rajbasha Officers – 07 vacancies
4. HR Officers – 08 vacancies
5. Law Officers – 15 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 20 years and 30 years for post 1 as on 01-07-2011, between 20 years and 35 years for posts 2 to 4 and between 21 years and 40 years for post 5 as on 01-12-2011. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a Graduate Degree/PG Degree in relevant discipline from recognized university. For post wise details of required qualification, refer to the notification.
IBPS Score Card Minimum Weighted Score: Candidates must have the minimum TWSS in IBPS CWE as indicated post wise and category wise in tabular form available in the notification. Minimum qualifying standard score would be 24 for General and 21 for Reserved category candidates in each test.
Application Fee Details: Candidates must download the Challan from Bank’s official website and make the payment in any of the Andhra Bank branches. Amount of fee would be Rs. 100/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Fee must be paid in CBS Account No 117911100000991 with Pattabhi Bhavan Branch in the name & style of “A B Recruitment Project Pos & Specialist Officers 2012-13”. With these details, fee can also be paid by the use of NEFT at any NEFT enabled Bank.
Selection Process: Initial short listing of candidates will be made on the basis of CWE score and final selections will be made on the basis of Group Discussion and/or Interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates need to apply only through Online mode from Andhra Bank website on or before 15-09-2012. After submission of application candidates can take a printout of the system generated on-line application form to be submitted at the time of the interview. The registration number and password generated should also be retained for future reference.
