IBPS CWE Clerical Results 2011
As more as 5.31 lakh campaigners have passed the first basic written examination for clerical posts in public sector banks. Approximately one out of every six candidates who appeared for the examination has been successful.
The exam was conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai in November/December 2011. Over 30 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
Mr M. Balachandran, Director, IBPS, said there were 1.72 lakh successful candidates in the general category, 2.37 lakh in the OBC category and about 1.21 lakh in the SC/ST category.
The individual scores of the successful candidates will be made available on the website of the IBPS in a week.

A week from now, candidates will be able to log on and check their individual scores. Candidates are required to input either Registration Number or Roll Number and Password or Date of Birth. Make sure to input your DOB in DD-MM-YY format.
Mr Balachandran said that the scorecards of the successful candidates will also be sent through ‘speed post’. Candidates will also be sent a tracking number by e-mail or SMS to enable them to track their scorecard. The banks will declare an individual cut-off score and the candidates satisfying the criteria will be called for further recruitment process. The 5.31 lakh successful candidates are expected to compete for about 20,000 clerical vacancies across public sector banks. Banks are expected to come out with their recruitment advertisements within the next three weeks. Those who qualify for the CWE will be eligible for applying clerical jobs in the 19 public sector banks. The selected candidates will be called for interview and GD to get appointed in various banks.
